As you may have realized, there has been a major change in security training for PSA licenses in Ireland,  since the start of the year.

All the old courses have been replaced with two new courses, which are approved by the PSA and QQI, these are now the only two courses acceptable for security licensing in Ireland.

For static and retail, the new course is now called “Security Guarding Skills QQI Level 4 Minor Award (4N20604)”

and for Doors and events, the new course is called “Door Security Skills QQI Level 4 Minor Award (4N20611)”

These are the only courses accepted by the PSA as training for a new security license.

We at Samurai Services are teaching only the new courses, part in class, part on-line and part self study as approved by the Security Institute of Ireland.
